On the weekend it gets full as the only gay beach in Cuba, but the beach is big enough to house them all, and the busy ambience makes you feel a part of the gay community of the island.
Finally, Sandy Bay in Cape Town is a firm budding nudist’s favorite and reached by an enjoyable walk from the city towards Cape Point to a secluded cove sitting before lush green dunes and sheltered from the wind – and prying eyes – by rocky cliffs.
Behind the beach are a few bars ideal for sipping a cocktail and enjoying “the view.”
Meanwhile, across the Atlantic in Cuba near Havana is the lesser-known – at least internationally – beach, Mi Cayito. Attracting visitors worldwide, Haulover County Park offers over a half-mile of pure white sand and seashore, with parking, trash cans, concessions, restrooms, lifeguards, and signage for the clothing-optional section.
It’s the half-mile on the northern end of Haulover (15548 Collins Ave., Miami Beach) that’s for nudists, and that’s also where you’re most likely to find LGBTQ2S+ people sunning themselves. Visitors can take a ferry or water taxi from the Toronto waterfront to the Hanlan’s dock of the Toronto Islands, then walk about 10 minutes to this officially sanctioned clothing-optional area.
The mellow gay twin resort towns and artist's communities of Saugatuck and Douglas, with their down-to-earth queer Midwestern vacationers, are just a short drive away. Visitors are drawn by its nudist-friendly policy and the sense of freedom and community it fosters.

Playa del Amor, Zipolite, Mexico
Playa del Amor is one of the most stunning gay nude destinations in Mexico, located in the small town of Zipolite on the Pacific coast.
As one of the country’s few officially recognized nudist beaches, it offers an inclusive space for visitors to sunbathe, swim, and relax in the nude, free from judgment.
What sets Brighton Naturist Beach apart is its welcoming and diverse crowd, attracting many gay men for the freedom it provides and the strong sense of community.
Once you've parked and returned to Trail 6, it goes directly to the beach on a long staircase.

This area is chill, and not as cruisy as one might expect; if you want to party, head south to the more boisterous part of the beach.
Playa Zipolite, Oaxaca, Mexico
Hard to get to, and not close to any place where you could find a Starbucks or buy a pair of jeans, it’s hard to see why anyone would come to this sleepy queer-friendly beach town.
Experience yoga for all levels with two classes a day on a spacious deck, secluded beaches, and the very best of open-air picturesque locations. From downtown, follow 16th Avenue west through Pacific Park and the University of British Columbia campus until the end of the road at SW Marine Drive. The atmosphere is friendly, and you are free to take off or leave on as much as you please, making it a great place to experiment with nudism.
The Pines - having a more understated, albeit intensely gorgeous culture - is a place of elegance and taste where roller coaster sidewalks of raised wooden planks meander through dense foliage past hidden homes in a community seemingly populated with Armani models...and those who can afford them.
In practice, there is little nudity on the beaches near Cherry Grove and the Pines so everyone goes to the stretch of beach between Cherry Grove and the Pines.
It’s the "A-list, polo-shirt-wearing" bar. Spend your days relaxing, getting to know your fellow guests, and/or choose between two specially selected activities each day, ranging from waterfall treks to ladyboy drag shows.
Finally, in Europe down in Southern France – near Cannes – you can find La Connexion, a gay-owned boutique – by the aforementioned Gay Sail – nude vacation resort.
Cherry Grove has the most to offer in the way of bars, restaurants, hotel accomodation and overall outrageous camp sensibility; you'll also find lots of women here. Go south several miles along what looks to be a frontage road to San Onofre State Park. The LGBTQ+ section of the beach is easily identifiable and known for its inclusive and welcoming vibe.
Nestled within Makena State Park, this picturesque area is framed by volcanic cliffs and lush greenery, providing a serene escape for visitors. Located just 35 kilometers southwest of Barcelona, Sitges is renowned for its gay-friendly atmosphere, vibrant festivals, and lively nightlife.
