Luxury. We managed to find a parking spot on the street with the help of Robert.
Breakfast was delicious both mornings and Stephane was always happy to make different things. Let me tell you the breakfast every morning was spectacular. Loft Hotel Montreal 4* – Gay Friendly Hotels Montreal

Located in downtown Montreal, Loft Hotel Montreal is one of the city’s last remaining Art Deco landmarks.

Currently is based in Romania after spending the last 7 years in Myanmar.

Best Gay Friendly Hotels in Montreal

Montreal's Gay Village is small, but by no means quiet.

The main drag (no pun intended), Rue Sainte-Catherine, transforms into a pedestrian terrace lined with colourful bars and eateries in the summer months, topped with a rainbow canopy art installation entitled 'Les Boules Roses' or 'Pink Balls' (again, no pun intended).

There are endless gays nightclubs and bars for you to spend your sunny days and wild nights in, and local LGBT landmarks, including the Chapel of Hope AIDS victim memorial, are nearby.

Why this hotel?

Room was very clean and well maintained.

I think this is a converted industrial building, and the rooms are immense and have a great industrial meets luxury loft feel. He advised us on a great urban walk which took in a number of lovely places. Close to the gay village.

Stylish serviced studio apartments 2 minutes walk to Montreal's gay village. The Latin Quarter is 13 minutes’ walk away.

The BBV, situated in the heart of Montreal, in the Village, sets itself apart by its warm and welcoming atmosphere.

While we did not take advantage of it, the hotel also offers a free continental breakfast which looked pretty good.

Positives:
1) The staff are both friendly and helpful.
2) The location is incredibly convenient as the hotel is just off St Denis street which has a highly active bar / nightlife scene
3) The rooms are INCREDIBLE.

On Valentines day (not sure if this is done regularly), there was a DJ playing music all afternoon in the lobby which created a festive vibe.

Service: outstanding and courteous, consistent with what I would expect from a Fairmont.

How much does a room costs at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth ?

Prices start 211 $/night for Fairmont King Room.

Hot water was plentiful and water pressure was excellent.

The room also had a good-sized closet and plenty of clothes hangers. It is a beautiful, historic hotel. We will be back.

The best of Montreal is but five minutes walk to the metro, a bus outside your door or, as one guest did, a quick hail of a taxi just has he stepped to the sidewalk.

The room we had was a queen and had a closet to put our bags away, making it much larger than needed.

No local parking so look for a car park or use a taxi. The bathroom was spotless and all white marble. Very nice and cozy place. From April to September, 180,000 rainbow balls decorate both sides of the street, turning it into a vibrant, unmissable spectacle.

St Laurent Boulevard, a 10-minute drive southwest of the Village gayborhood, while not a gay area, has many art galleries and cultural institutions.

Would recommend staying here. The parking is extra $20 a day but it’s on site and that’s cheap for Montreal. Perfectly located in the heart of downtown, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth has a fascinating history that unravels through a “for Montrealers, by Montrealers” concept featuring a restaurant, a bar, an urban market and a coffee shop where local products and talents take the center stage.

As you will definitely want to stay longer, our hotel offers accommodations perfectly elaborated to fit your stay.

Stayed in two of then as I went through town and both were unique. Charming staff too.
