Defn: compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another’s authority. I set off to write on the fruits of the spirit and instead, on my drive home. We do this with a very small team of just two volunteers: Elaine (our founder and visionary) and Don (who handles the church directory and is our website developer).

My #1 favorite thing to do in those situations is to use the 10-10-10 rule, which has helped me find clarity every single time I’ve used it.
Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of our church. It comes from a book by Suzy Welch called 10-10-10. We reach out to teach that Christ's message, the Gospel, is for everyone equally. We do this by giving churches the opportunity to register and submit their church on the map by filling in a questionnaire.
In the same vein, each local church may have varying degrees of openness and welcome to the LGBTQ+ community. Since our founding by Dr. Louie Crew in rural Georgia in 1974, Integrity has been the leading grassroots voice for the full inclusion of LGBT persons in the Episcopal Church and our equal access to its rites. To be such an organization, we accept our responsibilities to the Church, to our Catholic heritage, to society, and to individual gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Catholics.
