“I was dancing and prancing around, I was so glad to get out of there,” the New York-native recalled of each of her marriages. But that’s also because you just kind of gave me lesbian vibes!”

After the women laughed, the former Disney Channel star continued, “But, like, sometimes Whoops, you give me lesbian vibes, you give me stud vibes…”

“I think this is a secret fantasy of Raven’s!” Raven’s wife and co-host, Miranda Maday joked and added, “I think she just wants everybody to be gay and she’s just really hoping you’ll come out right here right now.”

Raven admitted that her partner was right, and then added, “So if you want to tell us anything, Whoops, you’re more than welcome to!”

Goldberg took Raven’s line of questioning in stride and admitted that there have been speculations about her sexuality for a long time.

Earlier this month, she spoke on her past divorce to drug counselor Alvin Martin, Dutch cinematographer David Claessen, and actor Lyle Trachtenberg, respectively, while on The View. There was nothing that would have made me want to deal with my own issue at that time.'

Once she did come out, Raven said she 'felt lighter' and like she could be herself.

'I realize that just living my truth of what I am, there’s one less person to fight me in my own head,' she explained.

Raven was in a relationship with model and actress AzMarie Livingston from 2012 until 2015.

“Honestly, when I was around you, I loved you so much like I just wanted to be up underneath the t***y the whole time!

The 37-year-old host confessed to the award-winning actress/TV personality that she felt Goldberg gave off “lesbian vibes.” However, Goldberg clarified that she’s never been one. “Because I always knew, I always thought, ‘you didn’t want to do this, and you knew you didn’t want to do it, and you did it anyway,’ so shut up and move on.”

She added, “I kept doing what everyone kept saying I was supposed to do and then I was like, ‘this is getting expensive and boring.’”

Whoopi Goldberg has opened up about her sexuality in a candid new interview, after a former co-host told her that she gave off 'lesbian vibes'.

Meanwhile, Whoopi is currently not married and earlier this month she admitted that she wishes she'd never walked down the aisle, despite getting hitched three times.

Speaking on The View on August 1, the Academy Award-winning actress admitted she was 'dancing and prancing' every single time her marriages came to an end.

Speaking out: Whoopi opened up about her three divorces during a recent episode of The View

Happy couple: Former child star Raven has been married to Miranda Maday since June 2020

Whoopi has been divorced a total of three times, with her final marriage to union organizer Lyle Trachtenberg ending in 1995.

The Ghost star admitted that by the time her third marriage was over, she felt it was 'getting expensive and boring', and hinted that was one of the reasons why she had never said 'I do' again - despite having high-profile romances with actors Timothy Dalton and Ted Danson.

Whoopi's first marriage was to a drug counselor named Alvin Martin from 1973 until 1979.

After her film career kicked off, she married cinematographer David Claessen in 1986 but it wasn't meant to be as they were divorced by 1988.

Whoopi married her third and final husband, Lyle Trachtenberg, in 1994 but they split the following year.

Following her third divorce, she had live-in relationships with actor Frank Langella and playwright David Schein.

Her other ex-boyfriends include businessman Michael Visbal, orthodontist Jeffrey Cohen, and camera operator Edward Gold.

'Which makes me happy because I can also say, to all those people who judge the lesbian community or the gay community, there is something beautiful about a woman being able to embrace their masculine and feminine at the same time and wear it so well, like you do,' Raven responded.

Goldberg said she is not a lesbian.

“Women have been asking me this for as long as I’ve been around, I am not a lesbian.I know lots of them, and I’ve played them on television,” Goldberg said. “But that’s also because you just kind of gave me lesbian vibes!”

Before Goldberg could respond, Symoné’s wife Miranda added, “I think this is a secret fantasy of Raven’s!

In June 2020, she married social media manager Miranda Maday. I think she just wants everybody to be gay and she’s just really hoping you’ll come out right here, right now.”

“Women have been asking me this for as long as I’ve been around, I am not a lesbian,” the Sister Act actress responded.

“But I know lots of them, and I’ve played them on television.”

Speaking to how she deals with her lesbian friends, she elaborated, “I’ll tell them, ‘I’m not gonna kiss you, but I’ll kiss you over here, I’ll do this, but I’m not going to do this’ … and they’re like, ‘OK!’”

But that's also because you just kind of gave me lesbian vibes!'

The three women laughed at the comment before Raven added: 'But, like, sometimes Whoops, you give me lesbian vibes, you give me stud vibes...'

Miranda then chimed in and said: 'I think this is a secret fantasy of Raven's! Goldberg appeared in a recent episode of Raven-Symoné’s podcast The Best Podcast Ever where Raven stated that Goldberg gave 'lesbian vibes' to her.

Raven implored Goldberg to share whether she is a lesbian after the former That’s So Raven star told the talk-show host that she thought she was queer while working with her.

“I want to just dig into your business a little bit, this is a safe space,” Raven told Goldberg during the podcast.

I think she just wants everybody to be gay and she's just really hoping you'll come out right here right now.'

'It is!' Raven admitted, and then said: 'So if you want to tell us anything, Whoops, you're more than welcome to!'

Whoopi didn't seem phased at all by the line of questioning and responded: 'Women have been asking me this for as long as I've been around, I am not a lesbian.

But I know lots of them, and I've played them on television.'

The mother-of-one continued: 'But I have always had lesbian friends because they're just my friends,' before recalling a conversation she had with one of her pals.

'I'm not gonna kiss you, but I'll kiss you over here, I'll do this but I'm not going to do this...

You live in this duality so well, and I just want to applaud you for that,' she added.

Former child star Raven has previously said that she knew she was gay since the age of 12, but didn't come out until she was at college.

Raven, who played Olivia on The Cosby Show, said in a 2016 interview: 'I knew I couldn’t say it out loud because, "Oh my god, little Olivia is gay, this is crazy".'

Even though other TV stars had come out at that time, Raven said she felt like it was never a good situation for her to do so.

'It was always negative.
